Sets the number of characters of field metadata (names, descriptions, sample values, synonyms, SQL) a topic may send the Omni Agent before Omni prunes field details to fit. A topic’s own ai_prune_characters overrides this setting for that topic.

Behavior

Setting topic_prune_characters turns on a validator warning for every AI-visible topic that Omni estimates will exceed the budget. Without this setting, the warning only checks topics named in ai_chat_topics. For the warning’s details and autofix, see the ai_prune_characters behavior section.
