bind_all_filters set. This means that filters won’t be re-narrowed by outer dashboard or workbook filters.
You rarely need to set this manually, but you may see it in the YAML of a query view that was promoted from an AI-generated query.
Syntax
Properties
string
required
The field to filter on, specified in the format
view_name.field_name.varies
required
Any standard filter operator (e.g.,
is, not, greater_than, etc.) with its corresponding value.boolean
If
true, a query view with bind_all_filters that uses this query does not receive this filter.Examples
In this example, the query view hasbind_all_filters: true, so it normally receives every filter from the outer query. The filter on users.created_at is marked exclude_from_bind_all: true, so it keeps its original value regardless of any outer filters on the same field.
