Managing embed entity groups

Embed entities are used to associate individual embed users with a larger group. Unlike standard Omni user groups, embed entities are provisioned programmatically. The Settings > Groups > Embed tab lets Organization Admins view and manage entity groups.

Viewing embed entity groups

The Embed groups tab displays the following information about each entity group:

• Name - The name of the entity
• Description - A description, if one is defined
• Label - A label, if one is defined
• Members - The total number of users in the entity
• Group ID - The unique identifier for the entity in your system

Managing embed entity group settings

To update an entity’s information:

1. In Settings > Groups > Embed tab, click an entity.
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. Update the Name, Label, and Description fields.
4. Click Save.

To update an entity’s AI credit limit:

1. In Settings > Groups > Embed tab, click an entity.
2. Click the Settings tab.
3. Scroll to the AI settings section.
4. Click the Edit button.
5. In the dialog that displays, configure the entity’s credit limit:
   • To set a cap, enter a whole number (ex: 40) in the Credit limit field
   • To allow unrestricted usage, click the Unlimited toggle
   • To reset to the embed entity group default, click Reset to default
6. Click Save.
