# Downloading apps

> Download a published Omni app as a PNG, PDF, Excel workbook, or zipped CSVs.

If given the [ability](/administration/content-permissions#default-document-abilities), you can download a published app into several formats.

## Downloading an app

In a published app:

1. Click **File > Download**.
2. Select a [format](#formats).
3. Click **Download**.

  Supported formats

App downloads currently support the following formats:

| Format | Description |
| - | - |
| **PNG** | A screenshot of the rendered app |
| **PDF** | The screenshot as a single page sized to the capture |
| **XLSX (Excel)** | A cover sheet with the app's screenshot, then one sheet of data per workbook query. Uses each workbook tab's default formatting. |
| **CSVs (in ZIP file)** | One CSV per per workbook query. Uses each workbook tab's default formatting. |
