# Navigating content

> The sidebar that displays on the left side of Omni makes it easy for you to find and navigate content in your instance.

<Tip>
  **Looking for specific content?** Use the [content search](/content/search)!
</Tip>

## Home

The **Home** page displays frequently viewed documents, dashboards, and workbooks for your organization.

<Note>
  Organization Admins can curate the content that displays on the **Home** page by using [labels](/content/organize).
</Note>

### Custom homepage content

Organization Admins can set a default dashboard or app to display on the homepage for all users in the organization. Homepage dashboards or apps display inline with other homepage content and render without headers, titles, menus, or toolbars, providing a streamlined experience.

<Note>
  Caching on Homepage Content behaves identically to whatever cache policy is set on the dashboard being shown.
</Note>

See the [Homepage content setting documentation](/administration/settings#homepage-content) for more information.

## Personal

The **Personal** section of the sidebar contains:

* **Favorites** - The dashboards, workbooks, and folders you've added to your favorites. To add a favorite, click the **star** icon on the content itself or in any of the content lists in Omni.
* **My Documents** - The documents and folders you've created in Omni. To make this content available to other users, you'll need [to share it with them](/share).
  <Note>
    Organization Admins can control access to **My documents** on a per-user basis with the **Allow personal content** setting. For more information, see [Managing a user's settings](/administration/users/settings#personal-content).
  </Note>
* **Activity** - Details about your activity within your Omni instance. See [My Activity](/content/activity) to learn more.

## Shared

The **Shared** section of the sidebar contains:

* **Hub** - The content that has been shared with the entire organization.
* **Shared with me** - The content that has been directly shared with you.

## Other pages

Below the **Shared** section of the sidebar, you'll see a few more pages:

* **All** - All of the content you have permission to access, including folders.
* **Trash** - All of the archived content for your Omni instance. While content is never permanently deleted, content archived longer ago than the organization's [Trash visibility window setting](/administration/settings#trash-visibility-window) will hidden in the trash.

  Users with sufficient permissions can [restore archived content](/content/archive-restore).
